The First Tee of the Quad Cities is a nonprofit organization that relies on donations, fundraisers, and fees to help local youth learn to play golf along with life lessons and leadership skills. And it’s making a difference. Our programs are having a positive impact on participants, their families and their communities.
Please note that we will no longer be accepting local golf club donations as we have run out of room to store them. Thank you for your kind donations!
One of our main fundraisers is through the Birdies for Charity program. Thanks to the John Deere Classic and John Deere, our organization receives 100% of the funds we raise through this program, plus the tournament gives each participating charity a bonus check of 5 – 10%. If you would like to give the The First Tee of the Quad Cities through Birdies for Charity, fill out a pledge form and use our Bird Number (#796) to make sure the funds are allocated to our chapter.
The First Tee and the John Deere Classic also host an annual The First Tee golf outing at TPC Deere Run golf course. Get a foursome together, have fun, compete, and support The First Tee. Find more details here.
We will also host our first-ever Lunch & Learn with a Pro on Tuesday, July 11th on the John Deere Classic tournament grounds. Check back soon for more details!
